One wild and windy night in 1835, as 6 explorers attempted to cross a flooded creek in the Hunter Valley, their strongest horse - Cockfighter - drowned trying to get his rider across the raging waters.\nWhen convict gangs were later sent to construct a bridge over what was now known as Cockfighter's Creek, they swore that on stormy nights you would see Cockfighter's Ghost galloping free across the countryside.\nThis wine displays complex fruit characters of white peach and rock melon on the palate combined with a lean acidity giving this wine a fresh, crisp finish. Careful application of French oak has added another layer of complexity and structure.
